Direct Mail Marketing
Direct mail is a marketing platform that gets information into the hands of a specific demographic audience. While EDDM mailings are similar, they only target a geographic area. Direct mail campaigns can be targeted by demographic variables such as age, race, gender, income level, job title, and more. Broadwater Contracting focused on home builders and realtors withing their target market in order to build their new home construction and excavations business. We implemented a campaign that included three mailings with a goal to introduce the company, promote services, and provide competitive rates to potential clients.

The initial mailing was designed to introduce Broadwater Contracting to industry partners. We positioned the company as a partner “For Builders, By Builders” to establish their brand as one that partners could trust.
The second mailing included two rack cards as opposed to the initial folded card. The goal was to send pricing and services in a format that potential clients would most likely retain and reference for future projects.
The final mailing was designed as an overview of Broadwater Contracting’s competitive difference, estimated pricing, and establishing them as the professional contractor of choice with industry partners.
Broadwater Contracting was able to get custom-designed marketing messages in the hands of their specific, targeted audience. Direct mail can work on its own or supplement other marketing methods to improve overall performance and increase customer engagement and ROI. In this case, we coupled this campaign with an email marketing campaign to ensure the overall message was distributed and received.
