What do you like most about your job?

I love how I’m given the ability to be creative and I also love the many diverse projects we work on daily. From graphics to logos, there’s never a time where I don’t feel like I’m able to express my creativity.

What is your proudest moment at Tulip Tree Studios?

The first website that I designed! I was happy with the way it turned out. After many long hours creating page by page, my vision led to a great layout. Seeing it come to life shortly after was a great feeling.

How do you balance career and family?

Very carefully. In all seriousness, my family is the most important aspect of my life and Tulip Tree allows me to work around my schedule for any “emergencies” if they happen.

What energizes you at work?

It is always nice to hear positive feedback on projects I have created. Even feedback like approved with no changes can go a long way because that means they liked it, or they trust my judgment.

What was your first job?

My first job was working at a lumberyard, stocking and loading lumber. Fun, right? A good starter job to get my feet wet on what the real world was going to bring, and also showed me what I didn’t want to do…

Tell us one fact about you that most people don’t know.

I’ve been big a fan of hip-hop music for over 30 years. 2 Pac, Bone Thugs, and LL Cool J are just a few of what have graced my ears over the years.

What is one food you cannot resist?

Cheeses (any kind) and potatoes (served all the ways). I also love soda. Yes, I say soda not “pop.”

What would you name your boat if you had one?

SS Minnow!

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Introvert. Enough said.

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?

Probably cleaning, it seems like that is what I am the worst at.

What is your favorite family vacation?

Either Disney World or our trip to Glacier and Yellowstone National Park. Both were very cool in their own respects, seeing the joy on our kids’ faces and seeing some of the most beautiful parts of the U.S.
