Puckett may not have been the first Tulip Tree employee, but his loyalty certainly contributed to his meteoric rise in the ranks. His love of the outdoors left most assuming his career path would lead him toward hunting and trapping. However, the family business needed security and Puckett’s innate ability to sniff out trouble made him the perfect candidate. Puckett has been serving Tulip Tree as Office Security for 7 years, so we decided to find out more about our furriest – er, friendliest employee.
What do you like most about your job?
During the pandemic, I dove into learning more about the operations side of the business with our move out to Stewartville. Every day is truly different, and I’ve enjoyed growing my skills and being an essential part of the company.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I’m not a chewer, but I love carrying a shoe with me. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, but it’s always just been a fun hobby for me.
What’s with the three names?
I am a direct descendant of a prestigious line of Wirehaired Pointing Griffon’s. My middle name is a nod to my family lineage.

Anywhere that’s within a few feet of my mom or dad.
